There is no specific response to the word Bismillah. It is a word that you say when you start any action so that God blesses you and keeps you away from anything harmful.
Linguistic or Literal Meaning of bismillah
The word in the name of God is (singular and genitive) and it includes all the names of God (Al-Asmaa Al-Husna).
